Camping Seasons

No matter what time of year you’re planning to go, Zion National Park is open year-round!  You can expect cooler temperatures and fewer guests in the autumn, so the local hiking trails and sightseeing spots will be yours to explore. If you camp in the winter, there may be snow and very few other visitors, so if you like some peace and quiet, this may be the perfect time to come!  The spring is full of wildlife and generally sees an influx of visitors from all around the country.  Summertime is the busiest for this state park, so you may have to call ahead for reservations.
