Are you ready to hit the road for an RV Utah trip? These days, international travel isn’t as easy
as it once was. More of us are embracing the idea of staying local. If tourism in your own
backyard doesn’t sound exciting, you haven’t done enough exploring in Utah. From majestic
scenery to ancient fossils, there’s something for everyone in the Beehive State.
Explore the National Parks
Utah is a haven for outdoor lovers. There are five national parks in the state:
- Arches
- Bryce Canyon
- Zion
- Capitol Reef
- Canyonlands
Each of these parks offers unique landscapes and mind-blowing scenery. You could spend an
entire season exploring any of them alone. Whether you want to get out for a solo expedition or
bring the whole family, any of these parks would make a great place to visit.
When you go on an RV Utah journey, you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of home while
immersing yourself in nature. What could be more refreshing than that?
Visit the Snow
Park City Mountain is the biggest ski resort in America, and it’s located less than an hour from
Salt Lake City. This makes weekend ski trips in your RV quite doable. There are RV resorts
scattered throughout the area, so it should be easy to find somewhere to stay.
Along with the 7,300 slopes you can try out, you’ll find plenty of fine dining and shopping around
Park City Mountain. Many of the restaurants serve local food, which elevates the dining
experience. There’s nothing like a fresh meal after a long day of fun on the slopes! If skiing isn’t
your thing, don’t worry. Park City is just as lovely in the summer months. The area hosts several large festivals throughout the year, such as the world-famous Sundance
Film Festival.
Get Excited
If you’re the daredevil type, you’ll be glad to learn that you can enjoy just about every extreme
sport here in Utah. The rugged landscapes and expansive wilderness are perfect for thrill
seekers. You can go mountain biking on Slickrock Trail, canyoneering in Bearskin Gulch, or
hiking on some of the world’s most advanced trail systems. Utah has it all. Many travelers from
around the world consider our trails to be among the best in the nation.
If hiking and mountain biking aren’t extreme enough for you, consider a rafting trip. One of the
best ways to see the wonder of Utah is by river, and you’ll be sure to get your heart rate up as
you do! After an adventurous day navigating the white waters, it will be a comfort to have your
RV waiting nearby.
Experience the Ancient
Utah is perfect for dinosaur lovers. Anyone with a fascination for our extinct predecessors will
love it here. Whether you want to educate yourself or your little ones, why not pack the RV and
head off on a dinosaur tour?

get you started, here are a few spots you should consider:
